Faith, Not The Five Senses
Faith: it can be difficult to exercise. It is wonderful to read the definition of faith as given in Hebrews 11:1 “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. ”
Yet when you really want a circumstance t o come past, don’t you start looking for some tangible evidence that the circumstance is changing? I certainly do.
As I hear the Word and read the Word of God more thoroughly I am being challenged to not look for the “tangible” evidence.
Faith in itself does not need to be verified by my physical senses. My faith (trust, reliance) in God’s ability to perform everything and the depth of God’s love for me is my evidence that circumstances will work out for my good.
Hallelujah!
How do you know when you’re walking in faith?
