Anger’s Happening: So Now What Do I Do?

Hello all:
Got very angry at a family member yesterday.  Hate it when I feel like that!

Why do the scriptures about kindness, gentleness, and long-suffering all fly away at times like that?  (NOW, I remember but the fruit of the Spirit is peace, joy, love, faith, long-suffering… Bummer!)

Thankfully, someone else encouraged me  this morning to put off  “old man habits” and use  “new man solutions”.  (Colossians 3:8-10 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds; 10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: )

Thanks God for your forgiveness and another day to get it right! 🙂
Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.
