I rarely watch the news and have to struggle to remember historical facts. But not so with 9/11.
Minutes after the tragedy started an associate called to ask me a question and then said,”I know you don’t watch a lot of news and you definitely don’t want to see what’s on right now. ”
Well I took the advice: not really understanding what was occurring. Minutes later family and friends started calling and bombarding me with the: “Did you see?” or “Are you watching what’s going on” type of questions.
I did finally turn on the news only to be stunned into silence.
The sadness of the day still wafts through the air — I would have fainted unless I believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
How about you?
