Proverbs 9:10  The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Proverbs 10:1, 29

1 The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son maketh a glad father: but a foolish son is the heaviness of his mother.

29 The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

Proverbs 11:17 The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but he that is cruel troubleth his own flesh.

Proverbs 12:14, 28

14 A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him. 28 In the way of righteousness is life: and in the pathway thereof there is no death.

Proverbs 13:18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.

Proverbs 14: 26, 34

26 In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

34 Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
